Zom-B Clans

Title: Zom-B Clans
Author: Darren Shan
Series: Zom-B, Book 8
Number of Pages: 171
Date Read: 5/3/15
Genre: Zombies, Paranormal, Dystopian, Post-Apocalyptic

Synopsis (Found on Goodreads.com)

B's first mission with the Angels --sentient, do-gooder zombies-- went horribly wrong when vicious members of the Ku Klux Klan attacked New Kirkham, a stronghold of precious human survivors. B is not about to let the racist thugs persecute innocent people, but while saving the town, one of B's oldest friends is kidnapped by the Klan.

The Angels are prepared to do what it takes to save him, but B will have to make some very hard decisions about loyalties--to old friends, to the Angels, and to new families and old.

My Review:

Another great book in the Zom-B series.

In this book we see B really starting to change and care about humans. She is willing to sacrifice herself and go on suicide missions to help get back the people the Klan took in New Kirkham. She fights the Klan bravely and goes after them when they retreat with the people they took. She also faces death several times in this book and she laughs in its face, often opting to die if it helps humans. I love her, shes awesome. I hated her in the beginning of the series but I love how she changed and is trying to do the right thing. She is still her spunky, insulting, sarcastic self but now she's working for the greater good.

Dan Dan also makes another appearance and I can't stand that fat f***. I really hope he dies in a horrible way soon.

We also get more information about Owl man in this book and how he is tied to Dr.Oystein. All I can say is finally! I've been waiting so long for some information about the villains. Unfortunately no information or appearance by Mr.Dowling in this book. I guess its all good cuz he creeps the hell outta me.

There are many major surprises near the end of the book that B has to deal with which she probably will in the next book.
