I loved this book!
It was so awesome.
Its a love story about an ordinary girl named Evelyn and the guitarist, David, of the popular rock band, stage Dive. Their story starts out rough. Evelyn was in Vegas for her birthday, got drunk, met David and they got married. She wakes up in her hotel bathroom with him next to her and she doesn't remember a thing. First thing in her mind is get an annulment. However later on they decided to try and make it work.
Evelyn is a good girl who listens to her father and has a grand plan of how her life is going to turn out. The plan was pushed on her by her father but she never said no to it and made herself believe its what she wanted. She hasn't had a lot of experience with love or sex. She is also very loyal and trusting and expects the same from David. She doesn't want any secrets between them and she always wants them to be honest with each other. I liked her.
I liked David too. He lives the rock and roll lifestyle but it seems as if he had enough of it. He doesn't want to get an annulment and wants to try to make things work with Evelyn. He was very hurt and upset when she didn't remember anything from their night in Vegas. David has some anger issues and major trust issues. He is also protective of Evelyn and always watching out for her. He is also very good looking with lots of tattoos which is something I love.
Their romance was sweet. Somethings happen and David has to win Evelyn back. He does everything he can to get her back and he does somethings that he's never done for anyone else which shows how much he really does love her. Its very cute.
There is a lot of sex in the book but its is done nicely and not overly graphic. Sex scenes are not really my thing and I get uncomfortable reading them but this book wasn't so bad. I definitely liked the story better than the sex.
I cant wait to read the next book in this series.
