My Review:
This book was ok. All it did was make me angry at the
characters which I guess is a good thing since that was what the book was
supposed to do.
Basically the book is about the rumors spread and the bullying of Alice Franklin in Healy, Texas. The town of Healy is very small so everyone knows everyone's business. The rumors that are started is that Alice slept with two guys in one hour at a party and later on, that she was the cause of one of her partner's death. The book is told in 5 pint of views. Elaine, the snotty popular girl who threw the party; Josh, the guy who died's best friend; Kelsie, Alice's former best friend and Kurt the nerdy weirdo loner of the school. All the chapters alternate between these 4 pov's until the last chapter which is in Alice's pov.
I have to say that there was not much of a plot besides the spreading of rumors, the bullying of Alice and how these 4 kids perceived Alice. Elaine's chapters were mostly about the party, Josh's were mostly about missing the dead guy Brandon, Kelsie's were memories of her friendship with Alice and things that happened to her and Kurt's were about helping Alice in the present time with her math. Oh and he has a huge crush on her.
I really hated all the kids except Kurt. Elaine was the standard cliche popular girl who thinks the world revolves around her, who thinks she is the end all and be all of popularity and is just a big airhead. She is so stupid it hurt to read her chapters. She needed to be knocked down a few notches. Her pov was all the stupid frivolous stuff about high school that NO ONE cares about after they graduate. All she cared about was blaming Alice for Brandon's death. Brandon who was the most popular guy and her sometimes boyfriend. Please, if any one else would of died she wouldn't give two shits.
Josh is gay. Literally. I just got that feeling from him and I felt like he was in love or liked Brandon. He is just so whiny and did not contribute the the book at all except that he started the rumors about Alice texted Brandon while he was driving which caused the accident that lead to his death. Nevermind that Brandon was intoxicated and driving a f**king car. Josh's chapter were all "I miss Brandon", "What am I supposed to do without Brandon", "I wish Brandon was here." God grow a pair already.

Josh was the reason Brandon crashed his car. Brandon was still drunk and looking at his phone to text a girl when Josh got all jealous and took the phone out of his hand which caused Brandon to look at Josh instead of the road. Then crash. And this low life piece of s**t had the gall to blame someone else. He gets a special place in hell. He can go f**k himself.

Kelsie is another s**ty piece of work. She was Alice's best friend but ditches her AND starts a whole new rumor about her. She is such a c**t. I would of kicked the s**t out of her if I was Alice. She blames Alice for her stupid decisions she made during their friendship and blames her for "The really bad stuff" that happened to her. That what she called her situation" "The really bad stuff"- what a f**ken baby. She didn't want to take responsibility for her actions and so she blamed Alice. Then dropped her like a hot potato when the s**t hit the fan for Alice. She was all whiny and trying to justify what she did because she wanted to stay popular instead of turning into the nerd that she was in her old school. If Dante's Inferno was real she'd be right there next to Judas, Brutus and Cassius getting eaten by Satan for all eternity. And she f**ken deserves it. I have no sympathy for her and her past situations. I don't want to hear what the b***h has to say and she deserves all that is coming to her. Karma is a b***h.
Kurt's pov was the best. He is such a shy nerdy kid who loves to be left alone by his peers. He is a genius in academics but lacks social skills. He uses huge words when he talks and says some weird stuff. But he is adorable. He has a major crush on Alice and he offers his help to tutor her in math. He is such a nice guy and would never take advantage of her. He feels like she needs a friend and offers to be one for her. And.. *SPOILER ALERT*

I felt really bad for Alice and she got my entire sympathy. So what if she made a few mistakes in her life? No one deserves such vicious rumors to be spread about them. I would of handled things differently than her though. She took the bullying and rumors and shrank into herself. I am very confrontational and not afraid to punch a b***h. I just felt like someone who had a big personality like she did before the rumors would stand up for herself. I am glad that she found in friend in Kurt though and found out what a rachet b***h Kelsie was.
The last character that I will speak about is Brandon. He is actually in the book a lot for someone who had already been dead when the book started. He was a typical jock a**hole man slut. I hated him and couldn't care less that he died. In fact good for him. He was a lying son of a b***h who was stupid enough to drive while drunk and texting. He got what he deserved. F**k him.
As you can see this entire book pissed me off and half these characters need their a** kicked. So i'm gonna go before I drop anymore F-bombs.
